The Peninsula Hotel at Bangkok is a high-quality hotel in the Klongsan District. Alex and Ash stayed here on Alex's first night in Bangkok.

The hotel has five restaurants, and Alex and Ash ate at the River Cafe and Terrace. Drinks are bought at the River Bar; Alex had pineapple-orange-guava juice and Ash had at least two Singha beers.
Transportation[]
The hotel has ferries to transport people across the Chao Phraya river. While Alex and Ash were having their drinks, Alex saw Ben Daniels, whom he had seen before near the airport, boarding a ferry. Ben then took pictures of them with his long-distance zoom lens camera.
