The Mary Belle was an American ship sunk during World War II. Alex Rider was locked inside the shipwreck while on Flamingo Bay.
History (before Ark Angel)[]
The Mary Belle served to transport supplies to American bases in the Caribbean. It was sunk by a German torpedo in seventy-foot-deep waters off the coast of Flamingo Bay, and became a shipwreck for scuba divers to explore.
Alex Rider's visit[]
Alex was locked inside by Kolo. He was eventually freed by Tamara Knight using an explosive device.

The Mary Belle was about 425 feet by 65 feet. It was situated about seventy feet below the surface of the ocean.
