Although Binnag was not present or even mentioned in the penultimate novel of the Alex Rider series, Scorpia Rising, it was revealed that after the events that took place in Egypt most of any members or affiliates of the criminal organization SCORPIA were rounded up and arrested. One could conclude, then, that Binnag was one of those who were detained.[4]
